Career/Experience
Mrs Eccles has been involved in the field of education for over 30 years. As a former School Principal, her experience extends across the Nursery and Primary sectors. In her role as Principal, she led with strategic vision, scrutinising performance and managing people, resources and finance. She also has over 25 years’ experience in school governance as a Governor Trustee. In her roles as both Principal and Governor, she has been responsible for Recruitment and Selection of Staff. Mrs Eccles is currently serving as a Trustee on the Board of Governors of St Patrick’s Primary School Holywood.
Period of Appointment and Remuneration:
Mrs Eccles was appointed on 1 May 2020 for a four year term. A daily rate of £338 and a half-day fee of £169 (4 hours or less) are payable. An hourly rate of £42.25 is payable for Commission activities other than attendance at scheduled meetings and attendance at training, conferences, outreach and diversity events.
