Reasonable adjustments

Under disability legislation, organisations have a positive duty to “take steps to meet disabled people's needs, even if this requires more favourable treatment”, such as making reasonable adjustments.

NIJAC will endeavour to ensure that the Application process and all form of communication is accessible to all potential applicants and that where also required changes are made to the workplace environment or working arrangements to ensure equality of opportunity.

Recorder

The two most senior County Court judges who are located in Belfast and Derry are known as Recorders.

Traditionally the Recorder of Belfast is regarded as the Senior County Court Judge in Northern Ireland.
