President of the Industrial Tribunals and the Fair Employment Tribunal (ITFET)

NIJAC is now inviting applications for the office of the President of the Industrial Tribunals and the Fair Employment Tribunal (ITFET).

The purpose of the post is to lead and administer justice in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland in the area of employment law. The President chairs tribunal hearings and supports the Employment Judges of the Industrial Tribunals and Fair Employment Tribunal in their duties.

 

Eligibility:

To be eligible for appointment as ITFET President a person must, by 31 March 2022:

 

  • be a barrister or solicitor of not less than seven years’ standing.

 

Salary: £143,095.00. This post is pensionable.
