As we enter Week 3 of the Lay Magistrates recruitment campaign, NIJAC will continue sharing new content across our social media platforms to give further insight into the role and the justice system of Northern Ireland.
This week, we'll be releasing a new animated explainer, Inside the Courts, exploring how both the Youth court and Family Proceeding Court operate and the important role Lay Magistrates play within them.
We'll also be sharing further testimonial content from serving Lay Magistrates, including the conclusion of Olga McGettigan's testimonial series, alongside a new series featuring Ann McRoberts later this week.
In addition, viewers will be able to explore a walkthrough of a Youth Court, offering a closer look at the courtroom environment, how proceedings are structured, and the role Lay Magistrates play in supporting local justice.
