NIJAC Staff Opportunities

The Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments Commission (NIJAC) is responsible for recruitment and selection of members of the judiciary for over 1000 judicial offices across Northern Ireland.

The Commission offers hybrid working and is seeking to appoint the following members of staff:

Communications Manager

Salary range: £32,880 - £34,011 (Under Review)

To advise and assist in the development and delivery of the Commission’s Communications Strategy and to develop and implement targeted programmes to support applicant participation and diversity. 

  Applicants must have:

  1. A minimum of 2 years’ experience gained in a Communications role; and
  2. A third level qualification.

Recruitment Officer

Salary range: £26,569 – £27,127 (Under Review)

The Recruitment Officer will join a small busy team and have a vital role in the recruitment and selection of people to serve in the Courts and Tribunals across Northern Ireland.  

Applicants must have:

  1. GCE ‘A’ level passes in 2 subjects; and GCSE/GCE (‘O’ level) at grades A-C in both English Language and Mathematics.
  2. A minimum of 2 years’ experience gained in an administrative environment to include experience of servicing meetings and Microsoft packages.

These are permanent, full-time posts. Both posts are based at Head Line Building, 10-14 Victoria Street, Belfast, BT1 3GG. Hybrid working available.
